Integral blinds for bifold and sliding doors
Integral blinds are the neatest way to add shade and privacy to bifold and sliding doors. The blind is sealed between the two panes of each glass unit, so it folds and slides with the door and never swings, rattles or gets caught.

Why ordinary blinds struggle on bifold doors
Roller, Venetian and vertical blinds hang from the frame or the wall. On bifold doors they either stop the doors folding back, or have to be fitted to every leaf, where they swing and clatter each time the doors move. Fabric near the floor also picks up dirt from shoes and pets.

The best controls for doors

For a simple manual option, the Suncord control uses a closed cord loop and a pair of magnets to raise the blind and angle the slats.

Can integral blinds be fitted to my existing bifold doors?
Often, yes. If your door frames can take a slightly thicker glass unit, we replace the existing glass with new sealed units that have the blinds built in. We check this on the free survey.
Do the blinds still work when the doors are folded open?
Yes. Each blind is sealed inside its own door panel, so it travels with the door and can be raised, lowered or tilted whatever position the doors are in.
Are integral blinds safe with children and pets?
The blind is sealed behind glass, so there are no loose slats or hanging cords inside the room. Motorised options have no cords at all.
