Replacement integral blinds
You don't need new windows to get integral blinds. In many cases we replace the glass in your existing frames with new sealed units that have the blinds built in.
We also replace older integral blind units that have misted up, broken or stopped working. Our team behind Chiodo Glass has over 30 years of experience making and fitting sealed glass units.

Adding integral blinds to existing windows
An integral blind needs a 20 to 27mm gap between the panes, so the new unit can be a little thicker than standard double glazing. If your frames can take it, we measure, manufacture the sealed units in the UK and fit them, usually without touching the frames.

When to replace an integral blind unit
If the glass seal has failed, the whole unit needs replacing. If only an external control has failed, Sun Bell systems can often be repaired without new glass.
- Misting or condensation between the panes
- A blind that is stuck, broken or no longer responding
- Cracked or damaged glass
- Old cord controls you would like to upgrade to motorised
What to expect

Replacement integral blinds: common questions
Can you replace an integral blind from another supplier?
Usually, yes. We replace the whole sealed unit with a new Sun Bell integral blind unit made to fit your existing frame.
How long does fitting take?
Most homes are done in a day once the units are made. We give you a timescale with your quote.
Will the new units match my other windows?
We offer silver or black aluminium and grey or black warm edge spacer bars, so the new units sit neatly in your frames.
